Agartala, 27th February 2025: A theft at the Anganwadi Kendra in the West Laxmibil area of Bishalgarh has caused a stir among locals. The incident took place last night involving the thief breaking two locks to steal gas cylinders from the Kendra.
The theft was revealed by the Kendra’s staff this morning, who promptly reported the incident to the Bishalgarh police station. According to Anganwadi Kendra worker Maitree Shil Biswas, this is the first time such a theft has taken place at the Kendra.
“This is the first time we have experienced a theft at the Kendra. We hope the administration will quickly identify the criminals and take appropriate legal action,” Biswas told reporters.
