Agartala, 29th January 2025: Three cars collided in the Uttam Bhakta Chowmuhani area of Bishalgarh leading to significant disruption and concern this afternoon. The accident involved a Scorpio named “Yamraj,” along with two other vehicles. Fortunately, the driver of the Scorpio, Aman Deb escaped unhurt.
The collision took place when the Scorpio vehicle en route to Agartala Airport from Waz Doar and Mahfil of Sonamura Rangamatia Darul Uloom Madrasa to bring Deoband Huzur from Uttar Pradesh. Aman of Bishalgarh Office Tilla was driving the Scorpio at high speed towards Agartala when he lost control near Uttam Bhakta Chowmuhani. The Bolero car traveling from Sonamura struck the back of an Ertiga car causing a chain reaction that left the Scorpio severely damaged.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud noise and saw locals quickly rushing to the scene. The Bishalgarh police station also promptly responded to the incident. Despite the dramatic collision, Aman Deb, the driver of the Scorpio, survived without injuries. However, the “Yamraj” Scorpio was heavily damaged.
The police have registered a case regarding the incident and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. Locals expressed their concern over the incident, highlighting the need for caution and adherence to traffic regulations to prevent such occurrences in the future.
