Agartala, 21st March 2024:  In a harrowing incident on the Flyover route, three individuals were severely injured and rushed to IGM Hospital for urgent medical attention. Identified as Amar Krishna Dey (52), Agrajit Dey (14), and Deepa Sarkar Dey (48), the victims were rescued by firefighters amidst a grim scene of blood and chaos.

The accident unfolded while the victims were en route to their destination via the Flyover. Prompt action from firefighters came after receiving distress signals from concerned passers-by, who witnessed the aftermath of the collision. Eyewitnesses reported that the victims resided in sturdy stone-built houses, underscoring the severity of the impact.

Disturbingly, it has come to light that such accidents might be a recurring issue on the Flyover, with pedestrians voicing concerns over reckless driving practices. Daily commuters, reportedly reliant on navigation aids such as TomToms, are navigating the perilous route with little regard for safety, putting themselves and others at risk.
