Agartala, 7th July 2025: A three-way road accident near the Sepahijala ‘Noukaghat’ area on the Agartala-Udaipur route left one person injured this morning.
Reportedly, a passenger bus bearing registration number TR01B1464 traveling from Agartala to Udaipur collided head-on with an Agartala-bound Alto car bearing registration number TR01AR0365 near the Sepahijala Noukaghat. The impact of the crash caused the bus to subsequently collide with a WagonR vehicle bearing registration number TR01BM0508 at the same spot.
The driver of the Alto identified as Dipankar Das from the Bagmara area in Udaipur sustained injuries in the collision and was immediately rushed to the Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital.
Locals expressed concern over the stretch between Sepahijala’s Noukaghat and Charilam Parimal Chowmuhani, stating that accidents take place frequently along this route. They have urged the district administration to implement strict measures to control speeding and prevent further mishaps.
