TMC releases Election Manifesto for Tripura

Agartala Feb 05: Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Sunday released its election manifesto for the ensuing Tripura assembly elections in presence of party’s senior Bengal leaders Bratya Basu and Sashi Panja.

Trinamool Congress state in-charge Rajib Banerjee, State TMC president Pijush Kanti Biswas and party MP Sushmita Dev were also present on the occasion.

Launching the manifesto the TMC leaders pressed for a ‘change’ in Tripura and banked on establishing Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool Congress government in the state.

10 major points were put up in the manifesto including important sectors such as Economy, Jobs, educations, Agriculture and others.

Major promises cited by the party states; 2,000 new MSMEs to be established in Tripura, 2 lakh jobs in next 5 years, financial assistance of Rs 1,000 to unemployed youths and sacked 10,323 teachers, student credit cards, scholarships among others.

Besides, current schemes in West Bengal including Sabooj Sathi, Krishak Bandhu, Lakshmir Bhandar, and others were also enlisted in the poll manifesto.

The Trinamool Congress leaders mentioned that the party is dedicated to public welfare, prioritizing inclusive growth and accountable governance in Tripura.
