Traffic police intensify efforts to curb violations at Udaipur

Agartala, 11th April 2025:   Udaipur city is witnessing a surge in traffic violations, prompting the traffic police to conduct rigorous checks on vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers, to promote awareness and reduce such incidents.

In a proactive effort, the traffic police organized an awareness program today at Ramesh Chowmuhani area. The event was held in collaboration with Radha Kishore Pur police station, saw participation from TSR personnel adding strength to the initiative. The program focused on educating two-wheeler drivers about the importance of wearing helmets and carrying vehicle documents, measures deemed essential for their safety and compliance with traffic regulations.

Sub-Divisional Police Officer Nirman Das emphasized that the initiative aims to curtail instances of traffic violations and instill a culture of road safety. “We are working to make drivers more aware of traffic rules, ensuring that carrying helmets and documents becomes a habitual practice. Awareness programs like these are designed to prevent violations and promote safer driving habits,” he stated.
