Agartala, 1st January 2023: In a devastating incident on Sunday night, two young lives were lost in a bike accident in the Thakurchhara area of Jolaibari. The incident occurred around 9 o’clock, prompting a swift response from the Baikhora Police Station.
Upon receiving the distressing news, both the Baikhora Police Station and Jolaibari Outpost Police Station dispatched teams to the accident site. Initial reports suggest that a bike was involved in the tragic incident.
Police were able to rescue two injured youths from the scene and promptly transported them to the Jolaibari Social Health Center for urgent medical attention. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, the doctors on duty declared both youths, identified as Ramesh Tripura (18 years old) and Bimal Tripura (30 years old), deceased after a thorough examination.
The residence of the deceased youths is located in the Kaladepa area under the jurisdiction of the Manu police station in the Sabrum sub-division. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear, and authorities are actively investigating the incident to determine the cause and sequence of events leading to this tragic loss of life.
