Agartala, 18th May 2024:   The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken a strong stance against what they perceive as conspiracies, propaganda, and a negative mindset propagated by the opposition. In response, the party organized a protest march today, with the procession commencing in front of the Krishnanagar party office and winding through various routes in the city.

BJP leaders including state President Rajib Bhattacharjee, Minister Ratan Lal Nath and MLA Ratan Chakraborty participated in the rally held on Saturday

BJP state president Bhattacharjee addressed the gathering, emphasizing that the opposition’s allegations were misleading. He stated, “The opposition claims there are widespread issues related to work, food, and electricity services across the state. However, our BJP-led government is actively working on comprehensive plans for the welfare of the people. Our commitment remains unwavering.”

Regarding the recent petrol-diesel crisis, Bhattacharya clarified that while the state faced challenges due to natural calamities, swift action by both central and state authorities resolved the problem. He accused the opposition of spreading falsehoods and urged them to refrain from engaging in propaganda.

The protest march serves as the BJP’s resolute response to counter the opposition’s claims and uphold their commitment to the state’s development.
