Tripura Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma’s Convoy Attacked Near Ambassa

Agartala, 9th April 2026 :  In a concerning development, Tripura Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma’s convoy came under attack by miscreants near Dolubari in Ambassa on Thursday.

 The incident reportedly took place close to Nailasha Bari, where unidentified individuals hurled stones and bricks targeting the minister’s convoy.

According to initial reports, no injuries have been recorded in the attack, and the minister is safe. However, the incident has raised serious concerns regarding the security of public representatives in the state, especially following a recent attack on Minister Bikash Debbarma.

Soon after the incident, additional security forces were deployed in the area to prevent any further escalation. Police officials reached the spot promptly and have begun a thorough investigation to identify those involved in the attack.

Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, and security arrangements have been strengthened in and around the region. Officials have assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible.
