Tripura government approves ex-Chief Secretary Kumar Alok plea; Voluntary retirement on July 03

Agartala, May 19, 2023: Former Chief Secretary of the government of Tripura, Kumar Alok is retiring from his service voluntarily on July 03 next. About three months back, Alok applied for voluntary retirement. The state government approved the application and issued an order on May 17 last that Kumar Alok can retire voluntarily on July 03 next.

A notification issued by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) department on May 17 last informed that “Kumar Alok, IAS (TR:1990), Director General, State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (SIPARD), Tripura” will retire from service with effect from the forenoon of 3rd July, 2023 voluntarily.”

Notably, Kumar Alok was 1990 batch IAS officer. And JK Sinha was the 1996 batch IAS officer.
