Agartala, 18th June 2024: Under the chairmanship of Tripura’s Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha, the council of ministers has initiated decision to fill up of 469 posts through Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) and Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT) in Health & Family Welfare, Fire & Emergency Services, Home and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs departments.
Speaking to media personnel at Civil Secretariat here on Tuesday afternoon, Cabinet Spokesperson and Transport minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that the decision of filing up 469 posts in four departments were taken in two cabinet meetings held on June 13 and 15 last.
“Under the Health and Family Welfare department, altogether 414 doctors will be recruited through TPSC comprising of 226 supernumerary posts of Grade-IV under GDMO (General Duty Medical Officer) cadre has been created and filling up of posts. The department will send proposal to commission and MBBS qualified candidates can apply for this. Written tests will be conducted in 85 marks and viva-voce of 15 marks.”
“Apart from this, 16 superspecialists and 172 specialists posts under Grade-IV will be recruited through PRTC. The superspecialists will be appointed in state hospital while specialists will be appointed in other hospitals upto Community Health Centre (CHC)”, he said.
Minister said “In the Fire and Emergency Services department, a total of 49 vacant posts of sub-officers will be appointed and the recruitment procedure will be executed by TPSC. The pay scale will be Rs 34,700 to Rs 1,00,900. It is a technical posts, candidates need to have educational qualification as graduate in Science and preferably fire fighting course of three months from government recognized college, Bachelor in Engineering and Bachelor in Technical can also apply with six months fire-fighting course from government recognized college, etc.”
The Cabinet Spokesperson also said the JRBT will directly recruit six sub-inspectors of Group-C under the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department.
