Tripura Gramin Bank’s Jansuraksha campaign draws over 100 beneficiaries in South Murapara GP

Agartala, 4th September 2025:  Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) Jamjuri Branch successfully organized a Jansuraksha Campaign at South Murapara Gram Panchayat under Kakraban RD Block, drawing participation from over 100 beneficiaries and key financial dignitaries.

The event was graced by Satyendra Singh, Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank; Diganta Kumar Das, Deputy General Manager, NABARD; Khokan Dey, District Development Manager, NABARD; Payel Saha, Regional Manager (South), TGB; the Lead District Manager of Gomati District; and the Pradhan of South Murapara GP.

During the campaign, officials highlighted the features and benefits of various Government of India Social Security Schemes including the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY). The importance of Re-KYC updates for PM Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) accounts was also emphasized to ensure continued access to financial services.

Fresh enrollments under these schemes were carried out on-site. In a poignant moment, a cheque of ₹2 lakh was handed over to the nominee of the late Sabita Das, a customer of TGB Jamjuri Branch, who had enrolled under the PMJJBY scheme highlighting the tangible impact of these initiatives.
