Agartala, 6th April 2026: The Directorate of Information Technology (DIT), Government of Tripura, has launched the week-long Sadhana Saptah 2026 as part of the Government of India’s flagship Mission Karmayogi programme. The observance, running from April 2 to April 8, aims to strengthen governance through digital readiness and skill upgradation.
The inaugural ceremony was held today at the Smart Training Centre, Agartala, with Jitendra Kumar Sinha, Chief Secretary, Government of Tripura, formally opening the programme. He was joined by Kuntal Das, IAS, Special Secretary, OBC Welfare Department, Jeya Ragul Geshan B, IFS, Director, IT, and officers and staff of DIT. Samrat Kishor from NeGD, MeitY, Government of India, participated virtually as a resource person.
The initiative features structured learning activities, interactive webinars, and knowledge-sharing sessions tailored to evolving administrative and technological needs. All officers and staff have been encouraged to devote at least four hours of learning during the week, combining guided sessions with self-paced modules on the iGOT platform.
By observing Sadhana Saptah, the Directorate reaffirms its commitment to continuous capacity building and digital empowerment. The programme underscores the state’s focus on preparing civil servants to remain agile, skilled, and responsive to the demands of a rapidly changing governance landscape.
