Tripura police organize statewide bike rallies to mark 79th Independence Day

Agartala, 14th August 2025:  In celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day, Home department across Tripura organized patriotic bike rallies under the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, aimed at promoting national pride and flag hoisting in every household.

A rally commenced from West Agartala police station led by West Tripura district’s Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak with senior officers including Additional SP Dhruba Nath and Sadar SDPO Debaprasad Roy in attendance. Addressing the media, SP Pathak emphasized the importance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and the police’s role in addressing societal challenges.

The Gomati District Police under SP Dr. Kiran Kumar K organized a 50-bike rally from Udaipur Police Line Reserve Headquarters, circling Matabari and returning to the base. The event also carried a message of traffic awareness alongside patriotic fervor.

A tricolor-themed rally was held from Santirbazar tri-junction to Baikhora Police Station featuring participation from multiple police stations. Local leaders including MLA Pramod Reang and SDPO Bapi Debbarma joined the event. Debbarma noted the rally’s goal was to instill patriotic spirit among residents.
