Tripura Police seeks public help to arrest man suspected of involve in dacoity

Agartala, 10th March 2024 :   In the wake of three consecutive dacoity in Chanpur, Aralia, and Baldakhal suburbs, the West District Police has issued a special alert, seeking citizens’ assistance in capturing a suspected serial robber identified in police cases 7/2024 and 9/2024 at Bodhjungnagar, and case number 22/2024 at the East police station.

The suspect, whose image has been widely circulated, is allegedly plotting to cross the international border into Bangladesh, prompting increased security measures at the border. Sources reveal that the police have identified the accused through careful analysis of CCTV camera records within Agartala city.

Tripura Police has urged to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect. The West District Police emphasizes the importance of citizen cooperation in ensuring the safety of the community and swiftly bringing the accused to justice.

As the manhunt intensifies, security alerts have been disseminated at border checkpoints to prevent the suspect’s escape. The police are on high alert, and community involvement is deemed crucial to the successful resolution of this case.
