Agartala Feb 1: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National president J P Nadda is scheduled to visit Tripura on February 3 next, as the party prepares to go for polls on February 16.
Nadda will address public meetings at Kumarghat PWD grounds and Amarpur Chandibari grounds on February 3 as a part of poll campaign in view of the assembly elections.State BJP election in-charge Mahendra Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb along with other functionaries of the party visited the respective areas on Tuesday to have a note of the preparations.
Besides, detailed discussions were held on several issues related to the visit of party’s national president.
Nadda will be accorded a warm reception at MBB Airport Agartala by chief minister Dr Manik Saha and other top leaders on February 03.Besides, according to sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has planned a series of rallies in Tripura on February 6 and 12.Many other top brass of the party area also scheduled to campaign in Tripura to seek votes for the BJP candidates and ensure victory for the second term.
