Agartala, 19th June 2024: In celebration of former All India Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s birthday, the Tripura Sadar Youth Congress Committee organized a tree planting event on Wednesday. The program took place at the Umakanta Academy school ground and saw significant participation from Youth Congress workers and supporters.
Neelkamal Saha, the president of the Youth Congress announced that the initiative aimed to plant 100 trees across nine organizational districts of the Congress. “Our goal is to restore the greenery of Tripura,” Saha remarked.
The event underscored the commitment of the Youth Congress to environmental sustainability and was marked by a noticeable turnout of enthusiastic participants dedicated to making Tripura green again.
