Tripura Sees Near-Normal November Rainfall, Brief Dense Fog

Agartala, 8th December 2025: Tripura recorded near-normal rainfall in November at 30.8 mm, just 3% below the long-period average. Sabroom in South Tripura received the highest monthly total at 100.4 mm, including a heavy 96.8 mm on November 5. South Tripura district topped overall rainfall with 57.6 mm (+70%), while Unakoti was the driest at 10.7 mm (–68%).

Temperatures were warmer than usual, with a maximum of 32.5°C on November 1. Mean maximum and minimum temperatures stayed 0.8°C and 1.3°C above normal, respectively. Two early-morning episodes of dense fog signaled the onset of cooler, more humid winter conditions.
