The two-day global convention was organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in association with various Government Departments and participating State Governments under the theme “Technology for Make in India.”

Leading the showcase from Tripura was InstaWater by HN Technovations LLP, which attracted considerable attention for its indigenous portable and hybrid water purification technologies designed for disaster response, emergency preparedness, defence applications, institutions, rural communities, and off-grid areas. Developed from innovations originating at Tripura University, the technologies demonstrated how locally developed solutions from Northeast India can address critical global challenges related to safe drinking water and climate resilience.
Another startup, ONE Campus Sustainable Solutions Private Limited, presented sustainable bamboo-based structural solutions focused on eco-friendly infrastructure and low-cost development models suitable for educational campuses, rural infrastructure, and sustainable construction initiatives.
Digigyanam from Digiskill Global showcased its advanced EdTech platform aimed at improving digital education and skill development opportunities for schools and colleges located in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, helping bridge the digital learning gap in emerging regions.
The innovative presentations from Tripura startups were highly appreciated by the august gathering comprising industry leaders, policymakers, investors, diplomats, and international delegates. The participation also resulted in encouraging discussions related to collaborations, partnerships, networking opportunities, and future business prospects for the startups.
Officials from the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, highlighted that the growing success of Tripura-based startups on national platforms reflects the positive impact of the Startup Tripura Policy and the government’s continued support toward innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth-led enterprises.
The participation of these startups at ICC-WTC 2026 is expected to inspire many aspiring entrepreneurs and young innovators from Tripura to take advantage of the Startup Tripura ecosystem and government support mechanisms to transform innovative ideas into scalable ventures capable of making national and global impact.
