Tripura students shine at ALOHA India National Competition 2025

Agartala, 9th January 2026:   Bangalore’s Palace Grounds witnessed a grand celebration on Sunday, 28th December 2025, as ALOHA India 2.0 hosted the National Level Competition 2025, commemorating 30 years of excellence in mental arithmetic.

The event, held in two sessions at 09:00 a.m. and 03:30 p.m., brought together over 500 participants from across India, alongside distinguished guests and international delegates.

The competition was graced by eminent personalities including K. N. Ashwath Narayan, MLA, Malleshwaram Constituency and Former Deputy Chief Minister, Karnataka Legislative Assembly; Justice P. Krishna Bhat (Retd.), Former Judge, High Court of Karnataka; Ram S. N., Scientist-SG, Division Head, Liquid Propulsion System Center, ISRO Bangalore; and Dr. Vasuki, Consultant Psychologist, Founder – Explore Counselling.

International delegates included Luis Artunduaga (Ecuador), Mr. Kamal Motwani (Mexico), and Muhammad Arafah Kube (Indonesia), while the Hon’ble Presidium was led by Loh Mun Sung, President & Founder, ALOHA International, accompanied by senior leaders from ALOHA India and its state chapters.

A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 15 Years Legacy Award to four stalwarts Satavisha Dey Roy, Shyamali Saha, Susmita Ghosh De, and Subrata Dey, whose dedication and contributions have shaped ALOHA’s journey in India.

Tripura emerged as a shining star at the competition, with its young participants delivering outstanding performances. Anurag Chakraborty of ALOHA Paradise Chowmuhani and Mani Shankar Chakraborty of ALOHA G.B. were crowned Grand Champions, while Devansh Das, Kaushik Das of ALOHA Bardowali, and Aayansh Das of ALOHA Nagerjala secured the Champions’ titles. The 1st Runner-Up positions went to Abir Karmakar of ALOHA Khowai, Ayushmaan Ghosh of ALOHA Paradise Chowmuhani, and Christina Debbarma of ALOHA Jirania. In the 2nd Runner-Up category, Shreya Das of ALOHA Jirania stood out, and the 3rd Runner-Up honours were claimed by Akshita Muhuri of ALOHA Shantibazar, Aradhya Chakraborty of ALOHA Paradise Chowmuhani, Ratnesh Roy of ALOHA Nagerjala, and Soumyadweep Dasgupta of ALOHA Paradise Chowmuhani.

The competition reaffirmed ALOHA’s mission — Abacus Learning of Higher Arithmetic — to nurture discipline, focus, and creativity among young minds. Tripura’s shining winners underscored the state’s growing prominence in national educational excellence.

As the event concluded, one message resonated across the Palace Grounds: “Every step forward is a victory.”
