Tripura University to host NE Disability Summit-2022

Agartala, November 10: Tripura University and Healthy India Chronicle, New Delhi shall be jointly organizing “North East Disability Summit-2022” during 12th-13th November next in MBBS Auditorium of the University. The Summit is being organised as part of Institutional Outreach Activities of Tripura University under the visionary leadership and social benevolence of Prof. Ganga Prasad Prasain, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Tripura University. The programme is being meant for the welfare of the under privileged section of the society.

Divyangjan (especially abled persons) from Tripura and North-Eastern region of India are cordially invited in the programme. Different types of artificial support system which are part and parcel for Divyangjan shall be distributed on the occasion. For the noble cause of the society, a mega Health Check-up–cum-Blood Donation Camp shall also be organized in association with Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Indian Red Cross Society of Tripura on 13th November next. 

Jishnu Dev Varma, Deputy Chief Minister and Santana Chakma,  Minister, Social Welfare & Social Education have kindly consented to grace the occasion as chief guest and guest of honour. Prof. G. P. Prasain, Vice-Chancellor is very enthusiastic to welcome Divyangjan and other distinguished dignitaries in the University premises who will have to come to participate in the said summit.
