Agartala, 30th May 2026: The Tripura Veterinary Doctors’ Association (TVDA) will hold its 56th Annual General Body Meeting on May 31 at city-based private hotel. The inaugural session is scheduled to begin at 10 am.
The association informed that the Animal Resource Development Department (ARDD) Minister Sudhangshu Das will inaugurate the programme and attend as the Chief Guest.
Secretary of ARDD, Deepa D. Nair, IFS, and Director of ARDD, Dr. Neeraj Kumar Chanchal, IFS, will grace the occasion as Guests of Honour. Additional Director of ARDD and President of the Tripura Veterinary Council (TVC), Dr. Bimal Krishna Das, will attend as the Special Guest.
The session will be presided over by Dr. Priyabrata Nath, President of the Tripura Veterinary Doctors’ Association.
The annual meeting is expected to bring together veterinary professionals from across the state to discuss issues related to animal health, veterinary services and the development of the livestock sector in Tripura.
