Tripura’s 5-star hotel ‘Polo Towers’ celebrates Christmas cake mixing ceremony

Agartala, 28th November 2024:  Hotel Polo Towers, the state’s only 5-star hotel on Thursday proudly hosted its annual Christmas Cake Mixing Ceremony, a cherished tradition that marks the beginning of the festive season.

Gunjan Kumar, Cluster General Manager, Hotel Polo Towers Group, said, “We’re delighted to continue this time-honored tradition, which has its roots in 17th-century Europe. The ceremonial mixing of cake ingredients is a festive event that symbolizes the spirit of giving, sharing, and togetherness.”

Vikalp Suman, Food & Beverage Manager, Hotel Polo Towers Agartala, added, “Our annual Christmas Cake Mixing Ceremony is a highlight of the festive season. We’re grateful to our guests for joining us in this joyous celebration.”

Ceremony highlights: Traditional Cake Mixing: Blend exotic spices, nuts, and dried fruits into a rich, velvety batter; Festive Cheer: Enjoy holiday tunes, decorations, and warm hospitality; and Delicious Treats: Savor sweet and savory delights, including freshly baked Christmas treats.

Other highlights for the season ahead include- Wine and Dine Gala Dinner: Paired with wine on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (24th & 25th) with live music at Three 81 Restaurant; Live Performance: Souls Band at Sky Grill & Bar on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day (24th & 25th) and the New year Eve (31st Dec); Gal Dinner on New Year’s Eve: More than 60 dishes by Chef Prasar at Three 81, paired with cocktails & live music; DJ Night: Christmas Day (25th) at the Ball Room; and New Year’s Eve Blast: DJ Night at the Ball Room.
