Tripura’s Secondary and Higher Secondary ‘Bachor Bachao’ Examination Commences

Agartala, 1st August 2024:  The Secondary and Higher Secondary ‘Bachar Bachao’ examination in Tripura commenced on July 29th and will continue until August 6th. Following the conclusion of the exams, the evaluation of exam papers is expected to begin on August 16th and is anticipated to be completed within 5 to 6 days. The results are projected to be announced in the last week of August.

The Secretary of Tripura Board of Secondary Education provided detailed insights into the examination process. He stated, “This year, 2,762 students are appearing for the secondary school year exam, while 3,815 students are sitting for the higher secondary exam across 27 centers.”

The examinations are being conducted at Kamini Kumar Memorial Singh Higher Secondary School and Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan in Agartala city. Additionally, exams are taking place simultaneously in 25 centers outside Agartala city. On Thursday, the Secondary Science Examination and Higher Secondary Physics and Education Science Examinations were held.

Furthermore, 27 students who have passed the Math Basic exam in Madhyamik are now taking the Math Standard Exam. “This allows them to sit with the numbers in the eleventh class,” the Secretary explained.

He also confirmed that there have been no reports of any untoward incidents related to the ‘Bachor Bachao’ examination so far. “The exams are proceeding peacefully,” he added.
