Tripura’s South District Gears Up for Colourful ‘Unity Promo Fest-2025’

Agartala, 30th October 2025:  In an effort to further boost tourism in Tripura, the Tourism Department has decided to organize the ‘Unity Promo Fest-2025’ for the second time. This year, the event will be held in the Belonia sub-division of South Tripura district.

Tripura Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Thursday chaired a review meeting to discuss preparations for the upcoming festival.

The Minister said that several initiatives have been undertaken by the state government to develop tourism infrastructure and attract more visitors to Tripura.

“The interest of tourists in Tripura’s destinations has increased significantly through the Tripura Tourism Promo Fest. Like last year, the Tourism Department will once again organize the ‘Unity Promo Fest-2025’. To ensure that people from every part of the state can experience this event, the two-day festival will be held for the first time in Belonia of South Tripura district, along with various other tourist spots across the state,” he said.

Focusing on the preparations for the fest, a preparatory meeting was held on Thursday at the Belonia Dak Bungalow, presided over by the Minister himself. The meeting was attended by the Zilla Parishad Chairman, MLA Pramod Reang, MLA Swapna Majumdar, the Secretary and Director of the Tourism Department, the District Magistrate, the District Superintendent of Police, and senior officials from various departments.
