Agartala, 29th March 2025: In a significant move towards strengthening cyber security infrastructure, the Board of Directors of Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) has approved a comprehensive “IT/OT/IoT and Cyber Security Policy.” The policy, developed in-house by TSECL engineers, was adopted under the Chairmanship of Abhishek Singh, IAS, Secretary (Power), Government of Tripura, with guidance from Biswajit Basu, Managing Director, TSECL.
This milestone decision aligns with the guidelines set by the Central Electricity Authority, Ministry of Power (MoP), and other relevant authorities. The newly approved policy is designed to provide a robust framework for safeguarding TSECL’s data, IT infrastructure, and consumers’ sensitive information from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
