Agartala, 10th July 2024: TTAADC has launched the TIPRA HAM Loan Scheme to provide sustainable income opportunities for unemployed indigenous youths in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council.
Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, former Tipra Motha Chairman, introduced this initiative aimed at empowering the indigenous Tiprasa community through accessible and affordable loans.
He said that the scheme includes various financial initiatives to promote socio-economic development, financial inclusion, and overall well-being.
“One key aspect is the TIPRA HAM Auto Loan, which offers subsidies and low-interest rates in collaboration with Tripura Grameen Bank. The objective is to enhance mobility, support entrepreneurial ventures, and boost employment within the district council areas”, he said.
Applicants can apply through a transparent online portal available in all Village Councils, facilitating easier access to loans for commercial purposes, including E-Auto loans to promote a Clean and Green Tripura.
