Agartala, January 23: The Department of Physics of the Tripura University is all set to organize the 4th International Science Conference on Materials Science from January 31 to February 02 next. The conference will be inaugurated by Tripura University Vice Chancellor Prof Ganga Prasad Prasain and will witness the participation of 375 scientists from India and abroad.
The Department of Physics is one of the best departments in Tripura University and has been ranked at the top by the Indian Resource Information Network System of the Government of India. The conference aims to showcase the latest developments and research in the field of materials science and to foster collaboration among the scientific community.
Syed Arsad Hossain, the convener of the conference organizing committee, briefed the media about the conference at a press conference held at the Agartala Press Club on Tuesday. He said that the conference would feature keynote lectures, invited talks, oral presentations, poster sessions, and panel discussions on various topics related to materials science. He also said that the conference would provide a platform for the young researchers and students to interact with the eminent scientists and experts.
