Two Bangladeshis nabbed from Chandrapur ISBT ahead of Durga Puja

Agartala, October 15: The police arrested two Bangladeshi nationals from the area near Chandrapur ISBT of the capital city on Saturday night, based on secret information. The accused have been identified as Md. Hasim and Nizanul Rahman, and are being interrogated by the police.

The OC of East Agartala police station said that they are yet to ascertain the motive behind their illegal entry into Agartala. He said that the police are also investigating if they have any accomplices or links with any anti-social elements.

The arrest of the two Bangladeshis has created a stir in the public mind, as it comes just before the Durga Puja festival. The police have assured that they are taking all necessary steps to ensure the security and safety of the people during the festive season.
