Two citizens of Iran and Bangladesh were detained

Agartala, June 21, 2023: Amtali police station staff arrested two suspected foreign nationals from Ashwini Market area in the peripheries of Agartala city on Wednesday morning.

Both the foreign nationals were identified as Yakub Yazdanbox and the other person is Shaheen Mandal.It is learned that one of them lives in Iran. The police searched them and recovered several fake Aadhar cards and PAN cards along with a mobile phone.

On Wednesday morning, the local residents received several pictures and other information on their mobile phones. SDPO and OC Nadugopal of Amtali police station are continuing to interrogate the arrested.

However, a sub-inspector of Amtali police station said that two unknown persons were roaming in the Ashwini market area this morning.

Accordingly, the police went and arrested them and brought them to the police station. During the preliminary investigation, the police found out that one was from Iran and the other from Bangladesh. The arrested will be sent to the West Tripura District and Sessions Judge’s court on Thursday.

Police are not opening their mouths for the sake of investigation. However, the people of Ashwini Market area suspect that the arrested persons have come to the state as spies of some organization to carry out some big conspiracy. The matter will be investigated at a higher level.

However, there has already been a lot of tension in the Ashwini Market area. But this news is completely based on allegations and sources.
