Two fetuses found in Bishalgarh hospital’s dustbin

Agartala: May 19. In a sensational incident, two embryos were recovered from a dustbin in Bishalgarh Sub-divisional Hospital under the Sepahijala district. The incident took place on Friday morning at around 11:30 am.

Soon after the incident, Bishalgarh sub-divisional health officer Jyotirmoy Das rushed to the spot.

Speaking with the reporters, Bishalgarh sub-divisional health officer Das said stated that an inquiry would be conducted to determine how the fetuses ended up in the dustbin.

“I have received information that some people have found a thing that looks like a part of the human body in a dustbin inside the Bishalgarh Sub-divisional Hospital. When I came here have found the same which looks like a human body. We will have to inquire about it. We will inquire into the matter to find out who threw this human part in the dustbin and will take the appropriate step. It looks like a fetus but have to carry out an inquiry. Because of legal abortion, such incidents may take place. We will look after it”, he said.
