Agartala, May 05, 2023: An auto-rickshaw driver robbed a young woman hailed from Uganda named Babra Nabawesi and took away her passport along with cash on Thursday night.
It is reported that an auto-rickshaw driver brought the woman from Agartala railway station to Bishalgarh jail road area. There the auto driver dropped her and ran away with her bag and all important documents including mobile phone, passport.
Later, another auto driver found her and took her to Bishalgarh Women’s police station around 2 AM. Police personnel could not talk to her in detail due to language problems. But she said that she came to India from Uganda and stayed in Delhi for some time. It is not clear why this woman came to Tripura from Delhi.
