Unemployed ANMs and MPWs demands filling up of 800 vacancies

Agartala, August 10, 2022: The All Tripura Unemployed ANM and MPW workers submitted a memorandum to the officer of the Director of Family Welfare and Preventive Medicine department demanding early recruitment of Auxiliary Nurse Midwiferies (ANMs) and multipurpose workers (MPW).

In the letter to the Director, it has been mentioned that there are several hundreds of ANMs and MPWs sitting at home for a long time. They requested the higher official to take positive action in meeting up their demand to end the pain of long unemployment after training. Their lone demand is that the department should immediately take initiative to fill 800 ANWs and MPWs vacancies.

The letter’s copy has also been forwarded to the Chief Minister, Health minister, Finance minister and Health secretary with signatures of all candidates.
