UP CM Yogi Adityanath & Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to inaugurate Guru Siddheshwari Maa temple at Mohanpur

Agartala, 9th August 2024:   A special meeting was convened on August 27 with officials from various line departments in anticipation of the inauguration of Guru Siddheshwari Maa temple at Sri Sri Shanti Kali Ashram in Barakathal under the Mohanpur subdivision. The temple founded by Chitta Maharaj has garnered attention for its spiritual significance and community impact.

Notable attendees included Chitta Maharaj, the founder of Sri Sri Shanti Kali Seva Ashram, along with government ministers and officials. Among them were Power and Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Janjati Kalyan Department Minister Bikash Debbarma, ADC Education Department Executive Member Rabindra Debbarma, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, Ex-MP Rebati Tripura, Mohanpur SDM Subhash Datta, and Mohanpur SDPO Bijoy Sen.

During the meeting, various critical issues were discussed in detail, emphasizing the temple’s role in fostering community well-being. Addressing the media, Minister Chowdhury revealed that the temple’s inauguration would take place on August 27. Distinguished guests including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma, and Chief Minister Prof Dr. Manik Saha, are expected to grace the occasion.

Chitta Maharaj, recently honored with the Padma Shri award for his outstanding contributions, expressed gratitude for the community’s support. The temple’s inauguration promises to be a momentous event, uniting people from diverse backgrounds in celebrating spirituality and shared values.
