Agartala, 12th December 2024: The student hostel of Gandacherra Girish Chandra Karbari Para School is in dire condition, with students facing numerous challenges daily. Members of the School Management Committee (SMC) have urgently appealed to the state government for swift action to address the problems.
Speaking to media personnel here, an SMC member highlighted several issues plaguing the hostel. “The hostel still lacks electricity, forcing students to spend their nights in darkness. Additionally, there is no boundary around the hostel, and the kitchen gets flooded even with a little rain,” the member explained.
Despite informing high-ranking officials about these problems multiple times, no action has been taken. The SMC members are now appealing to the government through the media to resolve these issues promptly to ensure a safe and conducive living environment for the students.
