Vidyajyoti: Science stream in English medium starts at BBI, Dharmanagar

Agartala, September 01, 2022: Under ‘Vidyajyoti – Mission 100’ project, the Science stream in English medium started its journey at Bir Bikram Institution at Dharmanagar on Thursday.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, former headmaster of the school Shashank Shekhar Das, District Education Officer Sudip Nath, present Headmaster of the school Ranju Sharma and other teachers including BDO Ripon Chakraborty.

It was inaugurated with a grand ceremony in the hall of Bir Bikram Institution. The Deputy Speaker BB Sen said that all good students are interested in becoming doctors or engineers, but now highly educated people are needed in politics. Now the lower or financially literate people don’t do politics like before. So the students urged the girls to become good politicians in the future. He advises everyone to study carefully.

On behalf of the school, former headmaster Shashank Shekhar Das said that BBI has come under the Vidyajyoti scheme today because of the Deputy Speaker. The school authorities have come forward to help him whenever needed. He enthusiastically solved their problems.

The DEO Sudip Nath said that his service life has almost reached the end of his life. His wish is that when his working life is over, he will come to the school and teach the students for free. He is a Life Science teacher. So want to give some extra education to the students after the job life.
