Agartala, 27th June 2026: The Madhurupa Memorial Cancer Welfare Society (MMCWS) has announced the return of Walking Lens – 3rd Edition, its annual photography exhibition, tentatively scheduled from 10th to 12th July 2026 at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala.
More than just an exhibition, Walking Lens is envisioned as a movement where creativity meets compassion. The event will unite photographers, artists, students, and enthusiasts from across Tripura, using the universal language of photography to raise awareness about cancer and mobilize support for patients.
The exhibition will feature compelling works across diverse categories such as Nature, Wildlife, Culture, Heritage, Tourism, Street Photography, People, Landscape, and Everyday Life. Visitors will also enjoy cultural performances, interactive sessions, and opportunities to engage with fellow art lovers.
Photographers from every district—professionals, amateurs, students, and hobbyists—are invited to participate. Registration can be completed online via the official form.
All proceeds will support MMCWS’s humanitarian initiatives, including cancer awareness, early detection, patient care, blood donation drives, and financial assistance for economically disadvantaged patients.
Organisers have appealed to educational institutions, photography clubs, artists, media organisations, corporate houses, and the general public to support this noble initiative. For media enquiries, contact: +91 99150 69914.
