Agartala, 13th February 2025: The sudden and untimely demise of Balai Goswami, the esteemed Sabhadhipati of West Tripura Zilla Parishad, has left the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and his admirers in deep mourning.
His passing marks a significant loss for the state, as he was recognized as a skilled organizer and administrator.Sources said that Goswami was in Chennai where he was undergoing for some treatment and suffered a heart attack.
Expressing sorrow, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said, “I am deeply saddened and shocked by the untimely demise of the esteemed Sabhadhipati of West Tripura Zilla Parishad and my party colleague, Balai Goswami. His demise is an irreparable loss for the Bharatiya Janata Party family and countless admirers. I spoke to his daughter and the hospital authorities immediately after receiving the news of his illness yesterday. I could not have imagined that he would leave so untimely. The state has lost a very skilled organizer and administrator today. I pray to God for the eternal peace of the departed soul and express my deepest condolences to the bereaved family and relatives in this difficult time”.
