Agartala, 13th September 2025: A workshop aimed at enhancing documentation standards among medicine retailers and pathologists was held today at Nazrul Bhavan, Kamalpur. The event focused on improving efficiency in maintaining records during retail transactions and raising awareness about the regulatory and ethical dimensions of the profession.
Jointly organized by the Kamalpur Branch of the Tripura Chemists and Druggists Association (TCDA) and the Dhalai District wing of the Tripura Pathological and Radiological Clinic Association, the workshop drew participation from a wide range of professionals in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
The session was inaugurated by Kanchana Sinha, recipient of the Best Woman Drug Controller of India award. Also in attendance were Dr. Subhasis De, in-charge SDMO, and Drug Inspecting Officer Adutyaprakash Chakma. Asit Shyam, President of TCDA’s Kamalpur wing, played a key role in facilitating the program.
Participants emphasized the importance of conducting such orientation workshops more frequently to ensure compliance, accountability, and improved service delivery across the sector.
