Agartala, February 08, 2023: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday reiterated about the developmental initiatives taken by the BJP-led government in the five years tenure in this state.

Addressing an ‘Vijay Sankalp Rally’ for MLA and BJP candidate Sudhangshu Das at Fatikroy assembly constituency on Wednesday morning, UP CM Adityanath said that he had campaigned for Sudhangshu Das five years back i.e. before the assembly election in 2018 at Fatikroy and today again he had arrived to campaign for this young and energetic karyakarta of the saffron camp.

He appealed the people to exercise their democratic rights in favour of sitting MLA and BJP candidate Sudhangshu Das and help in supporting the BJP to form government for the second consecutive term in order boost up the development across the state.

Citing the progress in all sectors, Adityanath said “After the formation of ‘Double-Engine’ government, people of Tripura has reaped benefits in different sectors. First and foremost, rule of law has been restored, violence is over, daughters’ safety ensured, women police stations opened, 33 percent reservation for women in government jobs and services, etc. Not only this, three lakh families received ‘Pucca’ house under PMAY, 2.70 lakh families received LPG connections under Ujjwala Yojana, 2.50 lakh farmers benefited under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, tests, treatments and double vaccinations have been given free during COVID pandemic period, even ration has been given free of cost.”

Taking a jibe on CPIM and Congress, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said that the leaders of these political parties never had any good intention for the progress of people.

“CPIM ruled for 35 years and Congress for several years, these parties never understood the mind set of common people. There would not be free test or treatment during COVID pandemic, free ration would be absorbed their hooligans, PMAY benefits would never reach people. Railway and Airport wouldn’t have prospered under their regimes”, he added.

At last, Adityanath appealed the voters to make Fatikroy’s BJP candidate win the election with a huge margin of votes and forfeit the deposits of Congress and CPIM candidates.
