Agartala: July 25. The Pradesh Youth Congress today demanded step down from of Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath from his post as he completely destroyed the education system in the state.The PYC today held a dharna infront of the home of minister Nath in Agartala holding black flags.
While speaking with reporters Md Sahajahan Islam vice president of Youth Congress said the state is facing severe crisis of teacher and for which students across the state are coming out on road demanding teacher.
“Everyone is aware about the Education system in the state which has totally collapsed. In different schools students are blocking road, holding protest demanding teachers. They are facing crisis of teachers across the state. The education minister in state has no step to solve the problem. He has completely destroyed the education system in the state. We are demanding that to save the future of the students the education minister should immediately step down from his post”, he said.He further said that there are many people who have already cleared Teacher Eligibility Test in the state and waiting for job but the education department is not recruiting teachers. However late huge contingent of police personnel rushed to the spot and arrested them.
