Agartala, 10th December 2025: A young man lost his life in a fatal road accident this morning in the Borpathari area under Belonia police station.
Local sources informed that the victim identified as Shyamal Patari was returning home after dropping his wife and child at school when a speeding truck suddenly hit him. He collapsed on the spot. Locals rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Shyamal Patari, a house painter by profession, was a resident of Gorjonia village under Barpathari Lakshmipur Panchayat.
Police have launched an investigation and are working to trace the truck involved in the accident.
