Youth Misuse Must Stop,’ Says Jitendra Chaudhury

Agartala, 8th  February 2026 :  A blood donation camp was held on Sunday ahead of the Rajnagar Area Committee conference of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI). The camp took place at the Chhatra-Jubo Bhavan in the city’s Mela Ground.

The event was attended by CPI(M) state secretary and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Jitendra Chaudhury, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, and other dignitaries. Many volunteers enthusiastically donated blood during the camp.

Jitendra Chaudhuri described DYFI as one of the brightest youth organizations in the country, guiding young people in the right direction. The blood donation camp was organized under the initiative of the Rajnagar Area Committee of DYFI. He highlighted that blood donation benefits both donors and recipients.

Chaudhuri also expressed concern about the challenges facing today’s youth, noting attempts to misuse young people, with negative consequences already visible in Tripura.
