Agartala, 9th May 2026 : A bizarre incident in North Brajapur under Bishalgarh police station limits has left locals stunned after a young man was found meditating inside a toilet pit, claiming the presence of a divine figure.
Reportedly, Paritosh Biswas, son of local resident Swapan Biswas, suddenly approached the under-construction toilet at his home and declared that “Boro Ma” (a revered spiritual entity) was present inside. Before anyone could react, he jumped into the pit and sat in meditation for an extended period.
Family members and neighbors, alarmed by his unusual behavior, quickly informed the Bishalgarh Fire Service. Firefighters rushed to the spot and, after considerable effort, managed to rescue the youth safely. He was later handed over to his family.
The incident has triggered widespread discussion and concern in the area. Many locals described the youth’s actions as completely abnormal, while others expressed shock at the sudden turn of events. The matter continues to be the talk of the town, with residents debating the reasons behind such behavior.
