Agartala, February 15: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of the ruling BJP, held an important organizational meeting on Thursday at Geetanjali guest house in Agartala, the capital of Tripura. The meeting was attended by state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya, state BJYM president Sushanta Deb and other senior leaders.
The meeting discussed the strategies and activities of the BJYM for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, which are expected to be held in April-May 2024. Bhattacharya said that the BJYM workers were given directions on how to campaign and connect with the voters, especially the youth.
He also announced that the BJYM would launch a Yuva Choupal program, a series of interactive sessions with the young voters in various village panchayats across the state. The program, which is part of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the BJP-led central government, aims to highlight the achievements and initiatives of the Modi government and seek feedback and suggestions from the youth.
Bhattacharya said that the Yuva Choupal program would continue till the booth level and would also involve the distribution of greeting cards to the new voters. He expressed confidence that the BJYM would play a crucial role in ensuring the BJP’s victory in the Lok Sabha polls.
