Agartala, August 29, 2023: Yuva Vikas Kendra (YVK), a Gandhian youth organization, will distribute 6,000 horticulture plants to 30 indigenous families in Bardhaman Thakur Para ADC Village, West Tripura on Tuesday. The event is being organized under the Integrated Farming Project, which is supported by Feinolex Industries Limited and its CSR partner, Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF).
The Chief Guest for the event was Ratan Chakraborty, MLA. Other dignitaries who remain present include Biswajit Shil, Chairman of Old Agartala Pachayat Samiti, Dr. Santanu Datta, BDO of Old Agartala RD Block, and Dr. Mandira Chakraborti, I/c KVK Belbari West Tripura.
The welcome address and information of the project was given by Debashis Majumder, President of YVK. The event was managed by Anupam Debnath, Trustee of YVK, Pratima Debbarma, Secretary of YVK, and Programme Coordinator Diptan Debbarma.
The beneficiaries of the project are very grateful to the organizers for taking this initiative to improve their livelihood. The guests have highly appreciated this type of project and have praised the hard work of YVK and MMF. They believe that this project will be a milestone in the development of Tripura’s agriculture sector.
The Integrated Farming Project aims to promote sustainable agriculture practices in Tripura. The project will provide the beneficiaries with training on crop cultivation, livestock rearing, and fish farming. The beneficiaries will also be given financial assistance to implement the project.
