100 days agenda of PM Modi has failed: Kharge

Date:

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s much hyped 100 days agenda has failed but the country faced the consequences of his ‘inaction’ in just 95 days.

Taking to his social media handle X, Kharge said, “Even before the elections, you had loudly trumpeted the 100 days agenda. It’s been 95 days, your coalition government is faltering”.

Through his post, he also criticised the government on the Union budget, rise in terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, Manipur issue and other issues in point by point manner.

“Your government has brought an anti-people budget to break the back of the poor and middle class. There were terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, especially in Jammu; many brave soldiers of the army had to sacrifice their lives,” the Congress President said.

He said that Manipur has been burning for the last 16 months, but the Prime Minister is not even bother to look into the situation.

Kharge said, “BJP cannot escape from the role of SEBI chairperson and other financial transactions that have come to light in Modi-Adani mega scam”.

The Congress President said that be it NEET or massive unemployment, the Modi government has only betrayed the youth.

“Whether it was the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Maharashtra, or the roof of airports, the new Parliament or the temple of God in Ayodhya, highways, bridges, roads, tunnels, whatever was claimed to be built, flaws were found in all of them,” Kharge said.

He alleged that under the current regime, “railway security has crippled, cities are facing flood-like conditions and states have not been given adequate flood relief”.

The leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha said, “Due to the public and INDIA bloc, you had to hand over the Waqf Bill to JPC, and had to support the Constitution on Lateral Entry”.

“Nobody knows what the agenda of 100 days was. But in 95 days the country is facing the consequences of your actions!
