Bihar: 4 youths die in bike collision in Katihar

Four youths died in a collision between two bikes on Monday in the Manihari police station area of Katihar district, Bihar, police said.

Police sources reported that the victims were on their way to Manihari Ghat to collect water for the third Monday of Sawan when the collision occurred near Kumaripur Kajra village.

“The two bikes collided, resulting in the deaths of all four youths,” the sources said.

Two of the deceased have been identified as Suraj Kumar Singh and Krishna Ram, residents of Udamarhika village in the Mufassil police station area of Katihar district.

The other two victims were from the Sarsi area of Purnia district. The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
