Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Farmer Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, along with his associates, will visit Dan Singh Wala village in Bathinda district on February 5.
Grewal stated here on Tuesday that he will meet the affected families whose houses were recently set on fire by a drug trafficker. He condemned the incident as a tragic and unacceptable event in Punjab.
He emphasised that he will raise this issue with the Central Government, particularly with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, to ensure strict action against anti-social and anti-Punjab elements.
He further criticised past and present governments for failing to eliminate the drug menace in Punjab despite making big promises.
Urging BJP leaders and workers, Grewal called for a united stand against such criminal activities to protect Punjab’s future.
