BJP protests over Valmiki fund scam, Cong calls it father of scams

Date:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday staged a massive protest against the Congress-led Karnataka government, alleging a massive scam in the Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation.

The BJP accused the government of embezzling funds meant for the welfare of Scheduled Tribes, sparking outrage and demands for accountability.

The protest, led by BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa, Assembly LoP R Ashok, and BJP leader CT Ravi, saw hundreds of party workers and supporters gathered in front of the Vidhana Soudha, demanding justice and transparency.

The BJP leaders alleged that the Congress government has looted the corporation’s funds for election purposes, leaving the vulnerable tribes in the lurch.

However, the Congress government, in a desperate attempt to deflect attention, hit back at the BJP, calling it the “father of scams”. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar dismissed the allegations, claiming that the BJP was trying to divert attention from its own corruption scandals.

But the BJP remained unfazed, with Vijayendra Yediyurappa declaring, “We will not be silenced. We will continue to expose the Congress government’s corruption and ensure that justice is served to the people of Karnataka.”

The Valmiki fund scam has raised serious questions about the Congress government’s commitment to transparency and accountability. With the BJP vowing to take the fight to the streets, the political battle in Karnataka is set to intensify. One thing is clear – the people of Karnataka will no longer tolerate corruption and deceit. The time for accountability has arrived.
